Roberta PittmanRoberta Pittman, 62 of 2518 Deep Creek Blvd, Portsmouth, VA died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center. She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Earl L. Pittman, Sr. and Alberta T. Pittman. She was preceded in death by a son, Marcus Pittman; a brother, Earl L. Pittman, Jr.She attended John F. Kennedy High School and Tidewater Community College. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Lakea Pittman and Kelly Pittman of Portsmouth, VA; two sisters, Willie Mae Pittman-Scott (Hosea) of Chesapeake, VA and Otella Mozell (Wesley) of Sunbury, NC; one brother, Marvin Thomas (Ann) of Portsmouth, VA; sister-in-law, Llucita Pittman; devoted friend, Sam Davidson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 8300 Crittenden Road, Suffolk. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will assemble at 6845 Crittenden Road at 10:00 a.m. for the processional to the church on Wednesday.
