Derrick FosterDerrick DeVonne Foster, 40 of 2433 Shamrock Garden Rd., Chesapeake, VA died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and the son of Alice B. Foster and the late Fred Skeeter.He was a graduate of Nansemond River High School and received an Associates Degree in Education. He was currently employed as a Lead Supervisor at Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center. Derrick was a member of Gates of Heaven COGIC.He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Kayla D. Aldegon of Chesapeake, VA; two sisters,. Jacqueline Thompson (Mark) and Alicia Hale (Felton) both of Suffolk; three brothers, Alexander Foster (Gwen), Walter Foster (Ronelle) and Troy Parrish all of Suffolk; a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Gates of Heaven COGIC officiated by Sylvester Silver. Interment will be in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery. A wake will be held Tuesday from 7 – 8:00 p.m. at Crocker Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 510 York Street, Suffolk.
