James Ralph HayslettJames Ralph Hayslett of Waldorf, MD entered into eternal rest and peace on October 9, 2014 at his residence in Waldorf. He was a native of Nansemond County and son of the late Clinton A. and Ruth E. Hayslett. He was also preceded in death by his son, Kevin Scott and brother, Clinton Hayslett.He leaves to cherish fond memories, one daughter, Deandria Cumberbatch (Lawrence) of Waldorf, MD; one son, Ronald Saunders of Suitland, MD; one sister, Pearlie Hayslett Blanks (Albert) of Suffolk; two brothers, Joe L. Hayslett and Ed L. Hayslett of Suffolk; two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Balm of Gilead Baptist Church, 3731 White Marsh Road, Suffolk, by Bishop A. S. Hall, Sr. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 10:30 am Wednesday. The family will receive visitors at 2509 Woodland Trail.
