Ethel BullockEthel Mae Bullock of 119 South Capital Street, Suffolk, Virginia died Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Johnnie and Effie Gill. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Thomas Bullock, Sr.She retired from Planters Peanut Company after 35 years. She was a member of Mt. Ararat Christian Church. Mrs. Bullock leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Thomas Bullock, Jr.; two daughters, Wilma Bullock and Jacquelyn Bullock both of Suffolk; three sons, McKinsey Bullock, Sr. (Linda), Michael Bullock (Shelia) and Bernard Bullock all of Suffolk; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Bullock; brother-in-law, Daniel Bullock, Sr. (Gloria); sister-in-law, Elaine Watson (Junius); nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at Mt. Ararat Christian Church officiated by Dr. H. H. Murrill. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
