Meurial L. DanielsMeurial Luverne Daniels, 63 passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Plymouth, North Carolina and the daughter of the late William Clemons (stepfather) and Catherine Clemmons. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Luwiska Lorraine Short; a son, Lorenzo Lamonte Daniels; and brother, William Clemmons.She recently received a certificate of completion from the Leadership Academy at Suffolk Redevelopment Academy in 2014. She was the vice president of the Chorey Park Residence Council. Meurial was a member of the Missouri Baptist Church where she was the President of the Missionary and a member of the Pastor’s Aid Ministry.She leaves to cherish her memory three sisters, Mary Hodges (Ernest), Fannie Clemmons and Cathy Goddard; two granddaughters, six grandsons and a host of great grandchildren; five nieces, one nephew, four great nieces, four great nephews, three cousins, William Phillips (Natalie), Hosie Phillips, Nora Daniels; very special friends, Renee Weaver, Rosetta Mitchell, Yvonne Franklin and Sonya Crocker; daughter-in-law, Paula Denise Daniels; other relatives and friends.A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday November 15, 2014,  at  Missouri Baptist Church 2020 Lake Cohoon Rd.
