William H. Best, Sr.William H. Best, Sr., 96 of 219 Prospect Road, Suffolk, VA died Friday, January 9, 2014 at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. He was a native of Greenville, NC and the son of the late Stephen and Johnella Best. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Best.He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Bettie Best-Brown (Jimmy) of Hyattsville, MD, Ella Baker (Walter) of Suffolk and Geraldine Best of Hyattsville, MD; one son, William Best, Jr. (Gwendolyn) of Suffolk; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Pulaski Baptist Church.
