Thelma BakerThelma Baker, 72, of Loch Circle, passed away January 15, 2015 at Sentara Care Plex Hospital, Hampton. She was a native of Chicago, IL and daughter of the late Anderson and Callie Curtis Brown. She was educated in the Chicago Public Schools and received a BA Degree in Business Administration Northern Eastern College. She was a member of Rising St. James Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was a member of the Pastors Aide. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Leonard C. Baker of Hampton; three sons, Leonard Baker, Jr., Eric D. Baker and Corey A. Baker (Kim), all of Hampton; one sister, Mattie Jelks of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 21 at Rising St. James Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiated by Bishop Dwight Whitfield, Elder Sean Gaines is the Pastor. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
