Jerry L. HunterJerry Lee Hunter, 49 of 829 Brooke Avenue, Suffolk, VA died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a native of Nansemond County and the son of the late Charlie Lee Hunter and Ruth Ella Hunter.He attended Suffolk High School. He was a member of New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministries.He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Angela Freeman of Suffolk, VA; one son, Jerry Freeman of Suffolk, VA; four sisters, Joyce Hunter, Tracey Spencer both of Portsmouth, VA, Sharon Hunter of Toledo, OH, and Retina Hunter of Portsmouth, VA; four brothers, Charlie S. Hunter, Timothy Hunter both of Suffolk, Charles Hunter of Norfolk, VA and Tony Hunter of Bowie, MD; other relatives and friends.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministry officiated by Pastor Viola Parker.
