Lottie Mary Hamlin LewisLottie Mary Lewis, 88, of Brook Ave passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at her residence. She was a native of Suffolk, Virginia and daughter of the late Collins and Mary Hamlin. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Junious Lewis, son Leroy Lewis, two daughters, Alberta Lewis and LonaBell Boone;Brothers George Hamlin, Willie Ralph Earl Hamlin known as Bill. She was a longtime member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. She did domestic work and employed by Heilig-Meyers Furniture Store. She leaves to cherish her memory sons; Solomon Frank Lewis (Gilbert), Thomas Edward Lewis (Anita), William Earl Lewis, Willie Ralph Earl Lewis “Bill”; daughters Mary Frances Eley (Robert), Sarah Marie Williams (Leon), Margie Anne Lewis; 27 grandchildren, a host great and great-great grandchildren; Sister-in-law Susie Mae Hamlin; cousins who were like her sister, Dora Scott, Elizabeth Rawls; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 P.M Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Crocker Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Simmons will deliver the eulogy. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
