Julia EdwardsJulia Edwards, 91 of 11163 Old 125th Road, Scotland Neck, NC died Monday, March 2, 2015 at Scotland Manor Care Center. She was a native of Southampton County and the daughter of the late Charlie Fulgham and Mary Pierce Fulgham. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Edwards.She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Ivor, VA where she was a former usher.She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Alberta Edwards of East Orange, NJ and Elizabeth Scott of Norfolk, VA; two sons, Homer Edwards of Ivor, VA and James L. Edwards (Edith) of Waverly, VA; twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and eleven great great grands; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Ivor officiated by Pastor William T. Smith and Pastor Annette Williams. Interment will be in Ebenezer Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. & Mrs. James Edwards, 6645 Carsley Road, Waverly.
