Thelma L. BagleyMrs. Thelma L. Bagley of the 5800 block of Spivey Run Road, Suffolk, entered into eternal rest and peace on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Suffolk and the widow of Cleve Bagley and daughter of the late George and Amanda Hamlin. She retired in 2015 from the Suffolk Public Schools (Kilby Shores Elementary) after 26 years of service. She leaves cherished memories to her daughter, Nikela Bagley of Suffolk; two sisters, Hattie Hamlin and Margaret Hamlin of Suffolk; three brothers, Herman Hamlin, Sr. of Suffolk, Melvin Hamlin (Laverne) of Chesterfield and John R. Hamlin of Buckingham; two grandchildren, Jala Moore and Diamante Moore, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A service to celebrate her Homecoming will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015 at Mineral Spring Baptist Church, celebrated by Dr. Madelene F. Beard. Interment will be in Bagley Family Cemetery.
