Walter WilliamsWalter Williams, Jr, 79, of Rountree Cresent, Suffolk transitioned Thursday, June 25, 2015 at his residence. He is the son of the late Walter Williams, Sr. and Audrey Coates Williams. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward Williams. Mr. Williams retired from Kraft Food/Planters in 1998 after 32 years of dedicated service. He leaves to cherish his memory his spouse, Ella Mae Bagley-Williams of Suffolk; two daughters, Lashonda Joyner of Edgewood, MD and Caroline Sweat of Suffolk; step-daughter, Sandra Crew of Porstmouth; two sons, Lyman C. Williams (Debrah) of Suffolk and Mark W. Williams (Angelita) of Bowie, MD; three brothers, Wallace Williams of Franklin, Samuel Williams of Ahoskie, NC, and Johnny Williams of Suffolk; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A wake will be held from 6-7 p.m Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will take place 12:00 noon Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Healing Chapel Baptist Church 2375 Godwin Blvd. He will be laid to rest in Bagley Family Cemetery.
