Mary OdomMary Lee Richardson Odom, 68 died Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Chesapeake Regional Hospital, Chesapeake, VA. She was a native of Virginia and the daughter of the late Jessie Richardson and Mary E. Richardson. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Odom; sisters, Florine Smith and Alice Bailey; brother, Joseph Wellons.She attended Isle of Wight Public Schools. She was a member of Holly Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church where she was a member of the choir. She leaves to cherish her memory nieces; Linda Green (Walter) of New Jersey, Ursula Sutton of Patterson, New Jersey and Linda W. Taylor of Baltimore; brother-in-laws, George Odom (Juanita), Johnny Odom, Ronald Odom, Willie Odom (Doretha) and Earnest Bailey; sister-in laws, Bertha Wiggins (Cornelius), Catherine Marshall (Alvin), Audrey Backman and Denise Odom; and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Holly Grove A.M.E.
