Lucinda Mae VallerLucinda Mae Valler, 61 of Suffolk died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Sentara Obici Hospital. Lucinda Mae “Cooch” Valler transitioned on the morning of June 27, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Eutha Mae Valler. Lucinda was born January 14, 1954 in Portsmouth, Virginia. She attended and graduated from Suffolk High School, and later moved to Hyattsville, Maryland. Years after traveling back and forth to Virginia and attending the Stop Organization Nurse Aide Training program, she made her home in Suffolk. Lucinda enjoyed writing poems and singing. She was blessed to sing on the Dick Lamb Show in the Bethlehem United Church of Christ Choir, as well as throughout her high school years. She leaves to cherish her memory god-daughter, LaKeesha Logan (Donald); great god-children, Kevin Clark Jr., Davon Clark and Darrius Clark; devoted cousins, Clinton of Maryland and Francena Croker (Bobby) of Suffolk; devoted aunt, Theresa Skeeter of Suffolk, Virginia; special aunt, Mildred Skeeter, Queens, New York; dear friends, Paulette Diggs of Suffolk, Ava R.
