Renita Walker PittmanRenita Walker Pittman, 47 of 6845 Crittenden Road, Suffolk, VA died Monday, August 3, 2015 at her residence. She was a native of Portsmouth, VA and the daughter of Nathaniel C. Walker and Linda P. Walker. She was a 1986 graduate of Western Branch High School. Renita retired from Newport News Shipbuilding after 24 years of service.She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Kevin A. Pittman, Sr.; daughter, Tamesha L. Walker of Portsmouth; stepdaughter, Alicia Glover of Woodbridge, VA; son, Kevin A. Pittman, Jr of Suffolk, VA; sisters, Andrea Walker and Tresa Eaton of Chesapeake, VA; brother, Rashel Williams of Chesapeake, VA; three grandchildren, Cortez Walker, Chaniya Jones and Kendall Pittman; maternal grandmother, Lucille Hatton of Federal Way, WA; mother and father-in-law, Hosea and Willie M. Pittman-Scott; special friend, Monica Davis; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Christian Home Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Bernard Thomas. Interment will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
