Margaret L. SkeeterMargaret L. Skeeter of 2225 Skeetertown Rd, Suffolk, Virginia entered into eternal rest on August 20, 2015 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was born June 6, 1930 and was a native of Ahoskie, NC. Margaret was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Simmons Hall, Father Roosevelt Hall, Sr., Sister Gloria Loraine Hall, Brother Roosevelt Hall Jr. and her beloved husband Daniel Skeeter.Margaret was a faithful member of Mt. Ararat Christian Church and was an active member of the Women’s Fellowship Ministry, Sunday School and a former member of the Senior Choir.She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Rev. Randy F. Skeeter (Joann) of Suffolk; two sisters, Loretta Bresloff (Ahoskie, NC) and Dorothy Frank (Bronx, NY); grandson, Larkin A. Skeeter (LaDrina); two granddaughters, Delana A. Green (Shawn) and Alfreda Russell; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.A Homegoing Celebration will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Mt. Ararat Christian Church 1860 Airport Road, Suffolk, VA 23434. Rev. Dr. Murrill will be the eulogist and she will be laid to rest in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at 2228 Skeetertown Road.
